Anniversary bottles

At least once in everyone's lifetime there is the opportunity to celebrate a really important birthday or anniversary, and what better way to do it than with a bottle from the year in question? Choose from our selection of wines, ports, cognacs, armagnacs and whiskies. If we do not list anything from the year in question, then please contact us and we will put together an offer of a variety of bottles from your chosen year.

Bottles can be obtained from almost any vintage and sent to the person of your choice in a wooden presentation box for a small extra charge. Working with nationwide couriers means that bottles can be delivered quickly and safely with a personalised message of your choice.

Private Cellar Management

Looking for advice on when best to drink the wines in your cellar? Contact us and we will happily provide you with optimum drinking dates for your wines as well as the best conditions in which to appreciate them.

Interested in a change? Contact us and we will value your wine collection and sell wine on your behalf, or exchange it for other stock.

Weddings and functions

Whether you are planning a wedding, party or corporate function, we hope you will come and talk to us.

To make sure that the wines are exactly what you want, we will arrange a tasting here at South Downs Cellars to select your wine and then offer a full service for the event including:

  • free delivery to the venue [within 10 miles of Hurstpierpoint]
  • supply of all wine, sparkling wine and Champagne of your choice on a sale or return basis
  • we also work with local breweries including Harveys and Dark Star to provide beer and lager, as well as soft drinks on sale or return where applicable
  • glass hire
  • collection of all surplus drinks from the venue after the event [within 10 miles of Hurstpierpoint]
  • Should you require catering for your event, then we recommend Hampers Delicatessen who offer a wide range of outside catering from simple buffets through to plated meals.
